This etude is popularly known as the "Cello" due to the prominent melody played in the left hand. The key has been altered from C-sharp minor to D minor for this arrangement for brass quintet which has been written to feature the tuba. It was arranged featuring Patrick Sheridan with the All-Star Brass.
